9:00 AM at the Reeves Visitor Center on Seven Lakes Dr. in Harriman. We will hike the Pine Meadow, Seven Hills, and H-T-S trails to the Ramapo Torne, Torne View, Chipmunk and Diamond Mountains. Ramapo Dunderberg Trail Maintenance

Time to give back to the trails we love. The NJR ADK Chapter is responsible for maintaining sections of the Ramapo Dunderberg and Long Path Trails. We will meet at 8:30 AM at the Silvermine parking lot off Seven Lakes Drive. We will then shuttle to Tiorati Circle parking lot. We will hike the RD Trail from Tiorati Circle to the Brien Memorial Shelter. We will check/replace Trail blazes, clip and clear small blow-downs and brush that is impeding the trail, and collect any trash along the way. We will stop at the Brien Memorial shelter for lunch, then hike down the Menomine Trail to the Silvermine parking lot. I will supply tools, trash bags, and trail blazes. You should bring a pair of work gloves, and if you have a pair of garden clippers/shears please bring them. Pack a lunch/snack, water and normal hiking items. At this time, Seven Lakes drive is closed between the Tiorati Circle and the Long Mountain Circle. Leader will advise alternate meeting instructions upon registration in the event that the road is still closed. Steady rain cancels; leader will notify participants by 7 AM on the day of maintenance. We meet at 9:00 AM at the Sebago Boat Launch parking lot on Seven Lakes Drive. We start at 9:15 AM sharp going east across the road on the Seven Hills Trail to the Buck Trail going north. We make a right on the Meadow Road to catch the T-MI Trail and the Breakneck Mountain Trail. We make a right on the S-BM, passing by the Third Reservoir, all the way to the T-MI Trail where we make a right and back to the Buck and the Seven Hills and the Sebago Boat Launch. Breakneck Mountain loop

Meet at 8:45 AM at the Diltzes Lane parking lot, GPS Coordinates N41°11’06” W74°04’29”. This lollipop hike follows the Tuxedo-Mt. Ivy, Breakneck Mountain, and Suffern Bear Mountain trails. We start at 9:15 AM sharp, going west on the Manaticut Spur (YBk) Trail to the Manaticut Point via the Manaticut (Y) Trail. We then take the Overlook Rock (W) Trail northwest, looping around to the Overlook Rock where we catch the view of Lake Sonoma. We go down from Overlook Rock using the Manaticut (Y) Trail north and east passing Lake Sonoma in the direction of the parking lot. This hike is moderate. Severe inclement weather cancels. Breakneck-Undercliff Loop

This is a loop hike. It follows the Washburn, Undercliff, Breakneck Ridge, Notch and Cornish trails. The hike affords amazing views of the Hudson River, Storm King Mountain, West Point and the Bear Mountain Bridge. It is rated moderate/strenuous and includes a rock scramble (not as steep as its neighbor —Break Neck Ridge). It is accessible by public transportation on the Metro North, Grand Central Station to Cold Spring; the trailhead is .8 mile walk from the train station in Cold Spring. Meet 9:00 AM at parking lot located on the east side of Rt 9D, .6 miles from junction of Rt 9D and NY 301 in the Village of Cold Spring NY. Advanced registration required. Take the Crossover going east around Gatum Pond and Weyble Pond using the Five Ponds Loop Trail north, then east to the west side of Glasmere Pond, then take the blue blaze Skylands north back to the R-R all the way to the Parking Area. Along the way, we will encounter several water crossings, summit Parker Cabin Mountain, and experience some amazing views. This hike is rated A- due to its length. It is a moderate hike. We hike the Long Path to Treason Trail (W) to go down the Bike Path along the Hudson River. We then take the Trail going back up to Landing Road and the parking lot. This hike is moderate. This hike traverses the southeastern section of Teatown, a 1,000-acre nature preserve in Westchester County. The hike runs along the shore of three scenic lakes – Vernay Lake, Teatown Lake and Shadow Lake – and will cover interesting terrain, with many old stone walls. Advance registration required.
