Hike Leaders
Becoming a hike leader for the chapter is easy and involves some basic training classes which can be taken online. Hike leaders provide the ideas for new hikes in all four seasons.
We always welcome new hike leaders to join our team. If you are interested in volunteering as a hike leader, please email the club’s Outings Chair at schedule@adknjr.org.
Trail Maintenance
The North Jersey Ramapo Chapter of ADK works in close partnership with the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference to support the stewardship of our region’s hiking network. We actively maintain several local trails to ensure they remain safe and accessible for the hiking community.
We are always looking for volunteers to assist with these preservation efforts; if you are interested in lending a hand, please contact the club’s Trail Maintenance Chair for more details: trails@adknjr.org.
